Dinner at the Abbey - pre booked only We don't have a restaurant, but a pre booked dinner can be organized most nights if you phone and book your dinner & accommodation at the same time directly with the Abbey at least 7 days prior 07 4661 9777. 6PM Starter of spring rolls, samosas & dipping sauce for 2 OR Creamy Pumpkin Soup for 2. Choice of 3 Mains: Lamb Shanks on sweet potato mash with green beans OR chicken Kiev on sweet potato mash with green beans OR Char grilled Tasmanian Atlantic salmon and mustard seed relish with potato bake and steamed vegetables. Followed by Pavlova with fruit salad OR Chocolate Pudding OR Sticky Date Pudding. Finished of with a port or sherry. A bottle of house red or white wine/couple is also included - fully licensed, sorry no BYO on ground floor or gardens. $55 pp Monday - Friday night. $65 pp Saturday night

The 'Attic' is on the 2nd floor of the building and has a small double room with wardrobe (room 12), and a queen & single bed, chest of draws and wardrobe (room 13), that can be rented with a good size lounge area with a double and two single lounges, TV/DVD with access to 600 DVD's at the Abbey, IPHONE docking station, table with 6 chairs and small kitchenette just to make tea & coffee, a bathroom with shower & toilet.
Exclusive use of this area for up to 4 adults is $440 and includes bed and breakfast at 8.30am. Extra Adult is $40 and needs to be booked over the phone
Attic - Room 11, 12 & 13 - picture below
The 'Attic' is on the 2nd floor of the building and has a small double room, electric blanket & wardrobe (room 12). A queen with electric blanket wardrobe and dressing table (room 11). Plus a room with a queen & single bed, chest of draws and wardrobe (room 13). There is a good size lounge area with a double and two single lounges, TV/DVD, IPHONE docking station, table with 6 chairs and a very small kitchenette just to make tea & coffee in, a bathroom with shower & toilet plus a separate toilet.

Looking for a romantic getaway, marriage proposal, anniversary or just to spoil someone special?
Book a night in any of our rooms and for an extra $40 we will include a bottle of local wine to enjoy in your room or on a verandah, a box of chocolates, fluffy Abbey bathrobes to wear during your stay, slippers and rose petals sprinkled on the bed. A romantic dinner for 2 in our Vestry can be organized when booking from $110 for two including a bottle of wine.

Please don’t take offense parents, but for the experience and tranquility of all our guests and lack of facilities for young children, Abbey of the Roses is not suitable for children under 16, unless all accommodation is booked by one group for a Private House Gathering. Give a friend or relative the pleasure of bonding with your young ones for a night or two and take a well deserved break!
Murder Mystery evenings are a great night with accommodation, a 3 course dinner, 4 hour beverage package & breakfast the next morning for $240 per person, choose from "Hollywood' & 'Murder at the Four Dueces' themes. Minimum of 18 & maximum of 30 guests. We send out invitations two - three weeks prior to the event with some 'top secret' information that must not be revealed until the night. Do you think you will solve the mystery and guess who the murderer is....?

Accommodation for 9 rooms sleeping up to 18 guests $1,900 per night including breakfast at 8.30am. (Rooms 1,3,4,5,7,9 and attic)
Book all 12 rooms sleeping up to 26 guests for $2350 including breakfast. If all 12 rooms are booked by one person children under 16 are able to stay.
Discounts for 2nd nights accommodation and mid week Private House Gatherings.
Casual dinning can be arranged.
A more formal dinning experience for a special occasion can be arranged. 3 course private dining dinner, beverage package, accommodation and breakfast from $220 per person twin share, with discounts on the 2nd nights accommodation.
Minimum numbers of 18 guests in 9 rooms and needs to be booked as a group where we co ordinate with one person.
