Exclusive use, or 'Private House Gatherines' can be booked for you to spend a night with close friends to celebrate a special occasion or milestone in a loved ones life. Celebrate in style and seclusion for a memorable occasion at this country estate. The Abbey can accommodate up to 26 guests in 13 rooms and full house bulk booking discounts apply. Get togethers with old and new friends, just come for a group dinner or book a night or stay for the whole weekend and use the Abbey as a base to visit Stanthorpe Wineries and the 100's of things Southern Downs has to offer!
Whether you are planning a lavish party or an intimate dinner for close friends (we are unable to serve dinner for less than 10 guests as we are not a restaurant and minimum numbers apply), it is hard to find a more beautiful setting for your celebration than Abbey of the Roses boutique guesthouse, bed and breakfast and function centre. Set on two acres of land this stunning heritage building is a perfect backdrop for any event.

Full Lunch or Dinner Menu
Registration table at entrance. 2 course Chefs course dinner, private dinning/meeting room hire from 12 - 3pm or 6 - 9pm, bar open for refreshments, white board and screen if required. $26.50 per person minimum 20 guests.
2 hour working lunch meeting?
Self serve tea & coffee with assorted sandwiches on platters during meeting. Includes private meeting room, white board and screen if required $18 per person minimum 16 delegates.

Murder Mystery evenings are a great night with accommodation, a 3 course dinner, 4 hour beverage package & breakfast the next morning for $240 per person, choose from "Hollywood' & 'Murder at the Four Dueces' themes. Minimum of 18 & maximum of 30 guests. We send out invitations two - three weeks prior to the event with some 'top secret' information that must not be revealed until the night. Do you think you will solve the mystery and guess who the murderer is....?
Bring a group of friends and book some accommodation in one of our 11 rooms with a capacity for 23 guests, stay the weekend in this boutique guesthouse to really have an event to remember.

Your guests are welcomed with a glass of sparkling or juice then seated to enjoy a selection of savoury & sweet items served on silver high tea stands placed at each table for your guests to select their own delights, whilst being served pots of tea.

Whatever your needs and budget, we will do our very best to help.
Please don’t take offence parents, but for the experience and tranquility of all our guests and lack of facilities for young children, Abbey of the Roses is not suitable for children under 15 when individual rooms are booked, if you book the whole house children can be accommodated. Give a friend or relative the pleasure of bonding with your young ones for a night or two and take a well deserved break!
