The Abbey is a unique and unforgettable castle like Wedding Reception and Ceremony Venue with style and sophistication. The perfect setting of any destination wedding for the couple who are looking for a wedding that is as uniquely different as they are.
Our Queensland Bride & Grooms travel from Toowboomba, Ipswich, Southern Downs, Brisbane and the Gold Coast to as far away as Gympie, Mt Isa and even Perth in WA.
We cater for intimate weddings of 20 to gala events of 150. Ceremonies, receptions, accommodation, mid week, weekend and off peak pricing available. We have packages priced from $49 to $300 per person and lots of options in between. If you don’t see an outline that is ‘you’ we will custom make a package to suit your style, requirements and most budgets.

Ceremony at the Abbey – 2 hours $750.
· Ceremony & Canapés at the Abbey – 3 hours from $49 per person.
The above two packages can be booked most Saturdays 9.30-1.30pm or Sundays & Midweek 1.30 – 4pm
· Ceremony & High Tea at the Abbey – 3 hours from $54 per person.
Can be booked most Saturdays 10-2.30pm plus Sunday & Midweek as required

The Abbey of The Roses is renowned as the “Most Spectacular Venue on the Southern Downs”. It has
been uniquely restored and is now perhaps the premier Wedding and Function Centre in the region.
Every Bride & Groom and every wedding is as uniquely different, as the Abbey of the Roses is uniquely different. Because of this we don’t just have a set amount of packages as each Bride & Groom will have their own ideas of what they would want and we cater for you as a unique couple.
We will design your wedding however you want it with you doing as little or as much as you want.

Imagine - a horse & cart bringing you from your ceremony to the entrance of the Abbey. You walk up the red carpet to the grand old cedar doors. Your guests gather around to congratulate the newly married couple whilst a string quartet plays in the front foyer and canapés are served prior to moving into the Long Room for a decadent dinner with sparkling wine, the desserts with hot chocolate and marshmallows!
You could theme your wedding with lace, tulle, fairy lights, baby’s breath flowers in your hair and on the tables, pearls or crystal….
Your reception room could have crystal centre pieces or candelabras, candles in the centre of the tables or red flowers to contrast against a white themed reception room to give warmth. Plus snow during the evening just to enhance the theme!

Bridal Shower Options
Your guests are welcomed with a glass of sparkling or juice then seated to enjoy a selection of savoury & sweet items served on silver high tea stands placed at each table for your guests to select their own delights, whilst being served pots of tea.
